Albatross Control System introduces the new set of Albatross conguration tools.

The previous Albatross InstallTool splits now in two specialized applications

1. The new Albatross ConfigTool software that allows any PC using an Alba-USB  to scan, analyze and configure the devices on a NMEA2000 bus.
   The main purpose of the Albatross ConfigTool is the configuration and calibration of the Albatross NMEA 2000 converter modules to integrate them in on board installations.  Its improved interface makes this task much more quick and easy than before: with the ability to save settings and transfer to the boat, now you just have to  configure the devices "on the table" and save the callibration. The on board installation time is reduced, because you just have to wire the NMEA 2000 backbone, connect the devices and load the previously created configuration.

   Albatross ConfigTool is also a powerful help for installers of any NMEA 2000 device, scanning the bus in real time, identifying and categorizing all the devices  and displaying the information generated in PGN,  all in real time.

2. The Albatross InstallTool 1.6 now focuses on the configuration of the Albatross On Board tocuh monitoring solution, allowing the creation of  instruments and monitoring screens. The new  version introduces improvements on the unit management, allowing also the configuration of the new features added on the Albatross On Board 1.6.

NOTE: The Albatross On Board configurations generated with previous versions of InstallTool are not compatible with the new application. If you have an Albatross On Board 1.4x and you wish to upgrade to 1.6,  please contact us and we will inform you about the upgrade program.
